I was hoping to be posting today with some super adorable 4th
of July photos from my dad's super fabulous party this weekend...
But, the 6 hours of rain left little opportunity for photos! =(

We still had a great time with lots of food and the rain stopped
just in time for the fireworks! Drew and Macey even had their own
sparklers!

...Maybe we'll look back at last year just for fun! ;)

Can you believe he's on there?! Me either, LOL! Last year we couldn't
get him near a pony and this year he rode around a dozen times!

Completely forgot I had these photos from our college picnic, so I
wanted to quickly share them!

Macey always says the same thing, "Mama don't help me! I can do it
all by myself!" Little Miss Independent............

I sent the twins camping with their grandparents just so I would
have photos to scrap with them! LOL!

you can see I couldn't resist those either ;)

D & MJ got a little (and by little I actually mean GIANT) early

birthday present from their grandparents. Wanted to make sure

they still had plenty of time to use it this summer ;)

Here's one of MJ - fearless girl I tell ya! She'll do anything... and

she's only 2 1/2!! Makes me a little nervous for when she's a

teenager, ha!

One more, just for fun!

Last year at this time, I had the pleasure of being the Featured

Designer for CARDS Magazine and this is one of the projects I had

published in the article. It always makes me think of summer and

I don't think I ever shared it ;) Happy Summer with lots of cupcakes!

Another fun project with the new goodies from Peppermint Creative!

These are EZ PZ to make!
You'll need some of those cute, ready to go napkin ring holders, easily
found at your local scrap supply. Picked mine up for $1.99 at Hobby
Lobby! (package of 8)

1. Cover the ring with a small strip of patterned paper. Use a clothes
pin to hold it down until you're sure the glue is dry ;)
2. Use your favorite die cut product, sticker or you can print your own
hybrid elements like the silverware above. Glue those to the top of your
napkin ring.
3. Embellish with additional tag, leaf, buttons or anything you like! I
used a foam square for a little added dimension on the leaves ;)

Some fun photos from our trip to Kings Island last week!

Drew got to pick out his own tatoo! And Macey had her face painted!
Unfortunately, it washed off after a trip through the Spongebob water
attraction, LOL! Glad we got a few good pictures of it first. On the
other hand, I think Drew's tatoo stayed on for 3 days ;)
They totally LOVED the miniature version of tilt-o-whirl!
We had so much fun!
